Signature of the contract of sale of the former MS Princesse Marie-Astrid

On Tuesday, the purchase contract for the ship on which the Schengen Agreement was signed in 1985, the former MS Princesse Marie-Astrid, was signed. For this signing, the College of Mayor and Aldermen together with a delegation led by the Minister of Tourism, Lex Delles, travelled to Regensburg, the current location of the ship, which currently sails under the name of the MS Regendburg.

Mayor Michel Gloden stressed that they were extremely proud of the return of the ship. It is a great opportunity for Schengen to have the ship with such great significance return.

For Minister Lex Delles, it is an excellent opportunity for memory tourism.
